Over the years every time I pass a barn I want to stop and photograph it. I finally started taking that thought seriously. It started with a trip to the Thumb (Michigan) and I saw this barn with a pigeon painted on it. That is when I decided to take my thought to reality and now when I see an unique barn I stop to take a photo. Of course no trespassing to capture these photos.

Stay ready for the perfect moments
Sometimes with photography it takes a little luck of being in the right place right time. In the case of the barn to the right and below this involved traveling down back roads when the sun is setting and having my camera. The best light is when the sun is setting or rising. I stopped my car hopped out and started snapping photos of these beautiful barns during great light.
